The Hidden Picasso

This is not exactly related to my story about Pablo Picasso in Florida, but in a way, it is connected by the fact that it prompted me to explain what happened in those days. In the summer of 2025, I visited a place called Gósol with my friend Albert Grau, who is from that region of Catalonia near Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. Apparently, Picasso arrived there in 1906. The town has a wonderful Picasso Museum; although we didn’t tour the exhibits, we did go inside the building to get a feel for the place.

I arrived in Florida in 2009. It is a long story, one that I hope will be reconstructed here—at least in part—through this blog. I spent about twelve years in that state. Among the many things that happened to me there, one of the most mysterious was the role I played in a potential scam involving a painting attributed to Pablo Picasso. I am not sure if I kept enough records from those days; in any case, I will share everything I can. Join me on this journey.
